Get ready for action!

We’re happy to welcome you into this vast realm we call ‘Policromix’. Dive into the multiverse where each universe floats around a topic and has its own boards, characters, card designs and stories.

First step on the journey is to get yourself a Policromix account. There are three ways to create an account, use one of the following methods below:

Method 1

If you have already created an account via a referral link, when you first open the game, you will be given a guest account. Select “Switch Account” and enter your account details. This will ensure your referrer gets the rewards associated with the invite.

Method 2

If you don’t already have an account, you can keep the guest account created when you first launch the game and customize it to not lose your progress, or dismiss it/switch account and create an account from the game itself.

Method 3

Go to the main website ‘https://policromix.com” and click register in the top right hand corner of the page. See the image below:

After you have filled out the information and successfully registered an account, the next step is joining the social platforms to keep up to date on what’s new, ask any questions you may have and of course meet new friends. These links can be found at the bottom of the main website. See the image below:

Let’s look at what you will see when you first jump in. If you look below you will see an image of the first screen you will come across after logging into the game:

At the top left you can see the PoliCromix logo. It changes to the logo of the playing universe you pick on this screen, and you can click on it to switch from one playing universe to another.

At the center you can see three(3) options, ‘Inventory’, ‘Shop’ and ‘Settings. The Inventory is where you manage your cards, create, edit and delete decks. The Shop is where you purchase card packs and other in-game items using SP tokens, FIAT or Crypto. Settings is where you can adjust the display and sound settings. For a more detailed guide on how to build decks, check on the website for tutorials or blogs from other players. Link can be found here [Forums].

At the right, you can see the user commands widget. If you click on your avatar you can enter your profile, wallet and user settings.

You also have the choice to check out the latest news about the game on the left hand panel, which would bring up a popup window outside the game, taking you to the main website to read articles.

The right panel, there is the option to choose which Universe you want to explore. Currently they’re three(3) universes, “Carinoland”, “Clash on the Swamps” and “Pits of the Fallen Souls”.

Let’s Start by choosing ‘Carinoland’! Here is what you’ll see:

If you notice, this page gives a brief breakdown of the story behind the universe of Carinoland and its inhabitants. Take a minute to read the story to get a full understanding of what you're getting yourself into.

You will receive a welcome reward of a set of cards to get started in each world. This is your chance to jump into the inventory to create your first deck. At this stage, you won’t have many cards to choose from, unless you bought packs from the shop previously. Basically, they are 4 typical deck types. 6 cards, 8 cards, 10 cards and 12 cards per deck respectively. At the beginning, everyone starts out with a basic 6 card deck. This is where you’ll start. Choose to create a deck, select 6 cards and make sure to give the deck a unique name. It won’t save unless you give it a name. After you’ve done this, you're ready to play.

After clicking on the Carinoland logo in the top left corner to return to the main screen, this is when you will begin your journey in the “Story Mode”.

Story Mode is where you will learn all the basics about the gameplay and start to think about strategies you can begin to apply. Take this time to read and follow along with the story as you never know what is in store in the near future.

In Story Mode, you will be playing against a Bot, which chooses cards based on the player's level and places them on the board prior to the start of the match. The bot doesn’t attack first, rather only counter attacks. This allows the player the perfect opportunity to understand the basics of the game.

Each card is represented with an Octagon, which also has from 1-8 arrows facing outwards, to indicate where it can attack. At the bottom left you will see a “number” and an “icon” depicting attack power with two crossed swords. On the other side on the bottom right, you will see something similar but with an icon depicting life or health points with a heart. Also displayed on the card are icons indicating whether the card has been buffed, nerfed or insured. These are displayed at the top of the card with various different icons with ‘Green’ - Buffed, ‘Red’ - Nerfed and when cards are insured, a sunset icon appears on the left. Below is a picture of a card and it’s attributes:

Using this information, you will plan a simple strategy to either attack the opponent’s card unprotected side/side without a facing arrow or use a card with a stronger attack than the opponent’s health points. Each turn you will get the chance to place 1 card. Once you overpowered the opponent's card/flipped the card, it’s now part of your team. This continues until the player who flipped the most cards at the end of the match, which determines the winner.

Each time your card flips another opponent’s card, it earns XP which goes towards its level. Each level the card’s attack or health will increase. After every win, the player is awarded with 'Player XP' which helps you to qualify for more advanced cards and servers. The higher player level you are, the better cards you receive as gifts from matches.

That's all for now!

Now you should go out there and conquer some universes and enforce your dominance! Your minions await you!
