Negapato is a Solana memecoin created on pump.fun back in February 2025.

Origin

The Negapatos are part of the Cariñoland universe in our trading cards game.

It is a race derived from the Cariñopatos - space ducks that invaded Blobosphere and forced the blobs (the planet's native species) to worship their leader, a duck god named El_Pato.

Long story short: the blobs were losing the war triggered by the invasion. They started an arms race to try kicking the patos out of the planet, but had not much luck on it.

They even invented the Evil Soaps (soap bars imbued with a soul) to wash out the wrongdoing of the patos. But they weren't good enough for the job.

Then, as the blobs got help from some patos that got too attached to them, they traced plans for developing the ultimate weapon.

Blob scientists got a brilliant idea: imbue some cariñopato allies with cosmic energies. Then, a new race came to existence: the Negapato.

   

The memecoin

We made the Negapato ($NPATO) memecoin on pump.fun for several reasons:

  • We had plans to add blockchain integration to our game.
  • We weren't familiar with the Solana blockchain, which is the one leading the way with tokens and NFT tech.
  • We've seen pump.fun gaining a lot of hype, so we went in. And we loved it!
  • We had some $SOL to spare for making a memecoin.
  • We WANTED to make it.
  • So, we made it.
