Policromix is a game in which each PvP battle you enter, the cards from the selected deck will be on the line. The winner of the match has the chance to choose 1-3 cards from the opponent's deck. This means the stronger the deck you enter a match with, the higher the chances of you losing one or more of your best cards. 

This is where “Insurance Clips” come into play.

Players can use insurance clips to protect cards from being taken out as prizes from opponents in PvP matches.

When you lose a match, insured cards will be taken out of the formula for as long as they have at least one(1) clip.

By pinning clips to your favorite cards, you keep them in your inventory for as long as you want.

Just remember that clips are deducted from each insured card when losing a match, so, make sure you keep the most important cards in your decks insured! If you win the match, the insurance clips don’t come into play as your cards aren’t in jeopardy.

Important to note: you CANNOT insure a full deck of cards.  Each board defines how many cards will be available as a prize for the winner, and this is the amount of cards from the deck chosen for playing that should be left uninsured.

Below is a breakdown of the number of insured cards allowed per match type:

• 2 players, 6 cards/player, 1 card from all opponents prize - 5 max insured cards
• 3 players, 4 cards/player, 1 card from all opponents prize - 3 max insured cards
• 3 players, 10 cards/player, 1 card per opponent prize - 9 max insured cards
• 4 players, 5 cards/player, 2 cards from all opponents prize - 3 max insured cards
• 6 players, 5 cards/player, 3 cards from all opponents prize - 2 max insured cards
• 8 players, 6 cards/player, 1 card per opponent prize - 5 max insured cards

In the Policromix Shop, there are 3 basic packs with “Insurance Clips”. Insurance cannot be purchased with Silver Pieces (SPs). Below is the breakdown:
