The continuation of the Cariñoland base storybook finally arrived. Now you can discover what's been happening since the Cariñopatos' ultimatum at the BUNS building at the end of Chapter 3.

New universe: Tavin|DAX

Tavin|DAX focuses on the conflict of two races that hits a third one. We've created a handful of boards and the entire collection of cards, but the storybook will take a bit more to arrive.

A universe inspired by Dante's "The divine comedy". Like on Tavin|DAX, we made the cards collection and some boards so you can start playing on it, but the storybook is still in the making.

New installer for Windows

On previous versions, we used the installer of the windows app that was generated by the build engine, and it didn't work well on updates.

We went sideways and used a different setup package builder that does a great job - one we know and we've been using for years in other projects.

So, starting with this release, you'll have a better setup experience on Windows.

New web client

Now you can play PoliCromix without downloading anything!

You can even install the web client as a Trusted Web App on your iPhone or iPad!

New Android app

Originally, the Android app was embedded in a webview to run our game code. Sadly, this approach rendered the game unusable as it started to grow.

So we wrapped our web client as a Progressive Web App and made the APK so you can play on your phone or tablet.

Login/connect with Twitch

We integrated Twitch account linking in our website!

• If you created a PoliCromix account previously, you can now link it with your Twitch account so you can login into our website or our apps.
• You can create a PoliCromix account using your Twitch account. Linking will be set automatically.
• You'll find the linking details in the account editor on our website or on your account details view in the app.

Connecting your existing account with Twitch from the app is as simple as:

1. Go to your profile and hit "Edit"

2. Click on "Connect with Twitch"

3. Login to Twitch

4. That's all!

 Once connected, you just need to login with Twitch:

Signing up is also simple! You'll find the "Connect with Twitch" button on the registration form, both in our app and website.

Fight against Twitch streamers from the chat

Now you can play PoliCromix matches against Twitch streamers right on the chat!

We made a bot that is summoned by the streamer and listens for commands sent by the viewers.

Depending on the match being hosted, one or more viewers can join the match and place cards by typing over the chat.

Improvements and fixes

Here's the list of things that were fixed on the app:

• Added device info on the settings view.
• Added support for 90 seccond turns in new matches - also set as default.
• Fixed speedup issues on storybook dialogs - the speedup didn't work immediately, but after the actual line finised rendering.
• Some caption fixes and minor style adjustments.
• Some preload optimizations.

Also, on the server side:

• There was an issue that caused a card being internally flagged as placed on the board when the user had to select a target to attack before actually placing the card.
  Several tickets have been opened on the bugs report forum about this issue.
  The issue has been fixed and the tickets were closed.
