Some days ago, we pushed the card NFTization engine to production, but kept it closed while checking that everything worked fine.

Today, we concluded the tests and successfully listed the Cariñoland collection on Magic Eden. Then, after doing a sale/buy to see if everything was smooth, we confirmed that our NFTs are 100% compatible with DeFi trading.

We also fell in love with Magic Eden's trading system. It is swift!

Get airdrops on conversions

We've been announcing that our NFTs would include piggy banks, and for every converted card, NPATO, USDC and BONK are airdropped!

In other words, your PoliCromix NFTs have true value, and you can use them for an assortment of cases, even as gift cards!

Get a discount on conversion fees

There are multiple payment tiers, and you can get a discount if you're a Negapato holder and you're registered in the Negastaking program.

Plus, you can pay the fee with GPs!

There are requirements

Since the NFTization idea was defined, we decided to put a wall in front of the system to prevent abuse and avoid spam. So, cards will be eligible if:

1. They belong to Cariñoland. We own the imagery used on this universe.
   
   
2. The card level is 10 or above.
   
   
3. The card quality ratio is at least 1.5 stars.

We also own the Streamers Universe assets, and we have plans to add it to the engine, but we'll keep with Cariñoland for now.

In regards to the other universes... sadly, we are using stock images, and the license explicitly forbids usage in NFT related ops.

We have plans to deploy a system for weekly giveaways!

All NFTized cards, no matter if they're "at home" (being used in our game) or "outside" (on your Solana wallet or a DeFi marketplace), will be eligible in a raffle, and some lucky winners will get extra NPATO, USDC and/or BONK!

Also, we might add other SPL tokens to the system, so, keep an eye on our social channels to get notified when we get through it.

We're at Magic Eden

As mentioned above, we went all in at Magic Eden! Their support team helped us to add Cariñoland to the marketplace!

So, from the very beginning, you can NFTize your cards and sell them at Magic Eden as soon as they hit your wallet.

Sadly, we had a false start

If you're not aware of how NFT collections are defined on Solana, here's a quick fact: each collection on Solana is ruled by a single NFT. This one is the parent of all the NFTs that are part of a collection, and it is used to verify that an NFT is part of that particular collection.

That being said, some days before opening the engine for everyone (after minting the first NFTs), we noticed on SolScan that our collection NFT wasn't showing its children.

All of them were part of the first verified NFT, and the collection was named after it, so, instead of seeing the Cariñoland collection, we saw the "My little ducky" collection.

Everything was properly verified by the parent NFT as per Metaplex standards, but SolScan ignored them and named the collection after the first verify.

So we threw all out to the trash and remade the collection, adding a «beacon» NFT that SolScan would use for naming the collection properly.

That beacon NFT is visible as part of the collection - it features the Cariñoland logo, but it is not a NFTized card and it won't be listed for sale, since it is just a placeholder to show the proper name of the collection on SolScan.

We modified the docs and set the proper URLs and handlers.
