The first chapter of this storybook tells us about how an evil stepmother takes over the kingdom, and how the princess has to be taken out of her sight before she's destroyed.

A new narrative type

We've been announcing in our previous newsletter deliveries about the Visual Novel storyplay method in our storytelling engine... and both books use this method.

It took us a long time to get to this point (the release of both books), but we loved the process, and we know you'll love the stories!

We have both books finished in writing, and both are in the implementation queue, so, it won't take long to bring the other chapters!

Few minor changes added

While both Tavin|DAX and TSC books are free to play, our previous releases on Cariñoland (Chapters 7 and 8) required access tickets. When the tickets were purchased from the in-game shop, there was an annoying delay between the purchase and the availability. We added a listener to speed up the process.

Also, there was a glitch on the storybook map music player caused by the Visual Novel Engine. We spotted it on staging and we fixed it before pushing the update to production.
